Activities Related to Objective

✓ Instructions: Give child the “Things That Make Me Feel Good” sheet (Handout #19) and “Nice Thoughts About Myself” (Handout #20). Help him work through each worksheet and think of positive thoughts to put in all of the bubbles. Have a discussion of the child’s positive qualities, and the people, places, and activities that make him feel good.

✓ Therapist Note: Some children may have a difficult time thinking of their own positive qualities; you should be ready to supply positive characteristics of the child that you have observed during sessions.
